It’s time for the 2011 Wimbledon Championships Final. 11 Days of competition have selected the best tennis players of the world for Saturday’s and Sunday’s Final of the Ladies’ and Gentlemen’s Singles tournaments as well as the Doubles and Mixed Doubles Championships.

Maria Sharapova vs Petra Kvitiova clash today in the most important match of Day 12. It’s the Ladies’ Singles Final starting at 14:00 GMT+1 on Centre Court. It will be followed by the Gentlemen’s Doubles final played between the Bryan brothers and the pair built by the Romainan Tecau and Swede Robert Lindstedt. The Ladies’ Doubles final will end this highly expected Saturday of the 2nd week of encounters at the All England Club.

Rafael Nadal vs Novak Djokovic is the greatest clash of this edition. The two meet in Sunday’s Final to settle the winner for the Gentlemen’s Singles trophy. The Spaniard aims to defend his Wimbledon crown as he is undefeated in London since 2007, when he lost the final to Roger Federer. Djokovic has earned himself the world No. 1 spot. However he needs to win this Final in order to be able to defend it for some time. Else he will have to give it back to Rafa on August 1, when the Spaniard will receive his 500 ATP points earned in Barcelona back in May.
